I was specifically looking for a set of 12 tall lanterns. Initially I wanted white, but all the tall white lanterns went out of stock so fast I missed them. Thankfully, the black turned out to be a better choice anyway, as the venue is very rustic. The side panels are glass, not plastic, which is nice. The finish is good - they look like metal, but the frame is plastic. The included candle is bright enough for a table accent, as you can see in the photo.These lanterns came packaged very well… I was confident enough in the condition and sturdiness of the packaging to not open every single one since I still have to transport them to the venue. Prior to going on the tables in the centerpieces, they are going to light the bridal path, so the set of 16 (8 on each side) came in really handy!!! I feel like since these are doing double-duty, we will really be getting our money’s worth.
