I purchased these chips over a year ago. I was going to use them in a costume project. With a simple circuit on a 9 volt battery, 1 chip alone could illuminate a dark room very easily. I recently created a test circuit with three of these chips on 1 9 volt battery and it still can provide enough light for the area. Of course, you could extend it by adding more batteries, but it can still get the job done with whatever project you may have.Just, try not to look directly into the light. ### ⭐⭐ Led lenses brown over time *by C***E on January 27, 2025* I've purchased this product twice and have used the leds in several applications.I've never run them over 5v and always had them mounted to heatsinks. I've learned that if they are run continuously ( 8 hours per day )The lenses will fog and then turn brown blocking most of the light.
