I'm not usually into cop shows as they always misrepresent real police work. However, this show isn't your typical procedural nonsense: it's comedy! Every actor and actress in this show delivers a stellar performance. The show is consistently funny, and the stories are human and relatable. There is some procedure, mostly in the form of jokes about endless mind-numbing paperwork. The show occasionally tackles real issues thoughtfully and with respect for everyone. Honestly, if you said I would be seriously entertained by detectives being mostly whacky, but sometimes super serious I would have laughed. In the first sixty seconds of episode one, you realize the show is hilarious. By the last episode, you realize this is one of the greatest television comedies.

I like to put on shows to put in the background while I craft, something that'll give me a laugh, I didn't expect to put down the craft and then realize a few episodes later I had not continued from where I left off. You know it's a good show when that happens. I enjoy being able to own the physical media that seems to be disappearing from store shelves from coast to coast, so I was doubly excited when there were no defects on the discs, and so far there have not been any skips or the like. I think what sets this show apart from your average comedy, besides being held in a Brooklyn precinct, is that there is character growth. These characters don't stay in their same monotonous character types, they branch out and in the end give you some feels you didn't quite expect. Without giving any spoilers, I would have to say the funniest thing on the show is something that actually happened to me in real life. As a teenager I once told my mother she needed what Rosa told Captain Holt and Kevin they needed, and let me tell you, my mother reacted the same way for the rest of the day towards me 😂

Great condition I love this series. They only have half of it on Netflix and the other half I believe on Peacock so I just bought the series I believe in owning physical media.

Brooklyn Nine-Nine is my all time favorite show so I was thrilled to find the entire series for such a good price! Also, it’s awesome that each season has all of the episode names on the inside sleeve! Great way to watch my favorite show, old school “stylez”! It arrived really quickly; however, when I opened the packaging, the top corned of the dvd case of the season 8 was broken, like it had been smashed. Obviously not manufacturer’s fault, just an unfortunate delivery.

I only buy physical copies of movies or shows if I think they’re worth keeping on my shelf. B99 is one of those shows. Highly rewatchable with a lovable cast and hilarious hijinks. At first I bought the DVD for season 1, but it came to me with the discs loose and scratched from their holders and broken plastic bits inside. Months later I decided it was better to invest in the blu ray set, which turned out to be the right decision as it came in much better shape and higher quality appearance on screen than if I watched the series from DVDs.

For anyone in the UK, I can confirm that this does play in the UK and is region free. For reference I tested via a UK PlayStation 5 console which worked fine & is an official product. Nice bundled set, with good picture & sound quality. Very happy to find this on blu ray as the UK only released standard dvd.

The box was a bit torn but everything else was great and nothing scratched. Plays great. Love this series

I think this is one of the best Blu-Ray boxsets I own. It does work on UK Blu-Ray players and it is really good and it is shot in HD. I love a lot of episodes and could take time to explain. The best era is Season 3 to 5 and while Season 8 was the weakest but it had a brilliant 2 parter to finish the show. Worth getting
