The ceramic canister is great, sturdy and the color was great; I chose Dark Turquoise, and it was not very dark, so I would assume that the regular turquoise is a very light blue. It came with 2 clear rubber gaskets. The wooden lid is not perfectly round on top. The part that sits inside, with the seal, is the same round shape, but the top part of the lid was cut in an odd shape, not totally round, uneven, not oblong. It was weird, visibly so, and I decided to return it. Outside of that off-shape on the lid, the canister was cute and sturdy.
