This thing is freaking awesome!!! Ok calm down. What's the best thing I can say about a little doodad like this? Well... mine's been working flawlessly for almost 5 years. My adapter feeds a Huion Kamvas pen display. I'm buying a second one for a dual-monitor setup. It's nice when little things like this just work, and keep on working.

Easy, cheap and great picture quality!!
Couldn’t be better or easier! I’m an avid Macintosh user. Graphic designer and photographer and need quality monitors. My MacPro is temporarily unusable and I’ve been using a HP laptop. Editing my photos is a nightmare on that screen. I didn’t even know it was possible to run my Apple Cinema Displays on that laptop. After a lot of research on exactly what I needed I found this. Got it and expected a hassle setting it up. All I had to do was plug it on and I was good to go. Picture quality is amazing. And these are so cheap. Only downside is the adapter plus the DVI male end are so bulky together it seemed like a matter of time before the whole deal snapped off. So I just bought a female to female HDMI coupler. So I just plug a HDMI cable into the laptop and the other end goes to the coupler attached to this adapter and Apple monitor DVI cable. Perfect. Highly recommended!!

Works great, but get an angle adapter too
I bought this so I could swap the HDMI cables needed for Raspberry Pi 3 and Raspberry Pi 4 cables. The Pi 4 uses micro HDMI on the board. The picture works great. The first complaint is the size of the module. The monitor I'm using has a recessed that tries to help with cable management. The module takes up most of the space below the DVI-D plug. When I tried to plug in the HDMI cable required a lot of careful forcing to fit into the space I had. I'm not sure how feasible it is to swap the wires right now. I'm looking for a right angle adapter to make it easier. As others mentioned, the lack of a screw slot makes it harder to install. I ended up having to use small needle-nose pliers to get the screws to set.

Works great to extend my old GTX 970 using hdmi cables to modern monitors
Everyone knows DVI-I/DVI-D is superiod to HDMI; however, it's harder and harder to find modern monitors with these types of inputs. This adapter works really well for both of my outputs to convert to hdmi and pass to newer monitors. Price point is great and not a lot of things can go wrong with this type of adapter (unlike mini/micro-hdmi/dp to hdmi adapters).

Great product!
Got this to set up a 3 monitor for my PC. Works great and have had no issues with this! Does not come with a cable but if you need more HDMI cable connections for your PC, this is the product for you then!

My new pc has a HDMI and a DVI output. This gadget allowed me to use 2 monitors, so I can have different things showing on the screen at the same time. ie work and play, Excel and a website etc
