This light comes well packaged. In the box you get your light, a bracket and a USB-C charge lead. The addition of the USB-C adds faster charging and the ability to charge other devices like your phone if you get stuck. The light is small and compact, is very well constructed. The rubber cover for the charge port is a very snug fit making a water tight seal. I have been out in heavy rain once so far and everything still works as it should with no issues so waterproofing is doing it’s job so I cannot see water being an issue. I have now used this light on four occasions for my ride home from work at 2am and I must say for a small light it packs a big punch. At 1200 lumens this light is bright. It has 3 brightness settings for the main light and two flash settings. The first flash setting is the normal on off but the second is a cool faster flash combo which was my personal favourite. The main light on low Is not very bright but gets you seen and saves power, medium is much better but on max this light comes to life, for a small light it packs a big punch easily lighting your way in dimly areas. On the brightest setting it managed just short of 2 hours at which point the light went into power saving mode engaging the lowest brightness setting this lasted a further 20 minutes then the light died altogether. If you can get away with either of the other two brightness settings then your easily into 2 hr plus territory which is very good considering the performance battery size. The supplied bracket fits tightly to my handle bars but is a bit fiddly to fit. The Garmin style twist mount is nice and tight so there is no chance of the light dislodging at all over bumps. Overall this light is very impressive, well built, waterproof and Bright well worth the money in my opinion.

Excellent, very bright, good lighting options, very easy to install with options for different handlebar thicknesses and simple twist on twist off removal. Solid, quality product, highly recommended.

I have only just purchased this so I am unable to give the full review it deserves. However, this is what I think. 1. First inspection reveals good quality build and feel. Good packaging and fittings and usb-c cord supplied. Also an Allen key for fitting supplied. 2. Good selection of lighting modes. 3 basic modes which ramp from low-med-high. Also two strobe modes, slow flash/fast flash. 3. Very easy to fit to front handle bar of mountain bike(Halfords Carrera) Easy on/off mechanism to fit and remove light. Useful when entering a shop and you need to remove the light so it doesn’t get removed by other people. 4. So, why haven’t I given it five stars? Because I am not yet able to remark in the quality of longevity. The costing of this light is reasonable. At approximately £39, if the light lasts three years, that’s 36 months. Approximately £1 month. I think that’s very good value for money to have a good quality, soundly built light that is potentially going to get me seen, illuminating my way and saving my life!

This light is excellent value for the price. Bright enough for solo night rides on the road, good battery life and has survived the winter riding in some pretty foul weather. 2 friends also have it, if you’re looking for a bargain bike light this is it.

I've been trying to purchase the best reasonably priced front light for a while. Cateye quality went down massively since I got hold of a very decent volt200 like 10 years ago. It's still going though battery indicator is fluffed and 200 lumen in the dark into the rain does not really help.. Thought I would stay with cateye as the volt was great and very well made. Bought an amp400 and very disappointed... Thought I would try this magicshine and it's a different light entirely. Stout metal build, feels quality and has great light output and beam shape for riding. It's easily worth the money and I'm now very happy for the first time in years with this one. Really happy with this. Bright, with a wide spread of light and gives a good range in front of you while riding. Sure, there are many lights out there which give more lumens but I’ve no complaints about riding with this in unlit areas whatsoever. Easy to install. Great build quality. Fast charging.

So far so good. Used more for being seen in half light than riding in the dark but does give a strong, broad spread of light. Easy to fit and charge, convenient control switch. Too early to tell how long it will last but seems well made.
