That they have more meat on them, more sturdy, but the thermostat bolts were a bit shorter than the originals

Bolts are well made and should outlast the new pump
Fit of the six pump bolts was perfect. I used a small amount of locktight blue on each bolt. Actually i used these after replacing the pump with the old bolts. Removed the old bolts one at a time and tightened to 22 ftlb. Small leak, my fault, that seems to be healing itself. I got my pump from auto zone $116 complete with Thermostat and housing. The 2 Thermostat bolts with this set did not fit my pump. 2004 chevy suburban. One recommendation is to be sure to order new bolts before u install the pump with the OEM bolts.
