Dow Milestone Specialty Herbicide with Aminopyralid 32 oz

I bought this to kill albizia trees in Hawaii. These trees were massively huge. Just take a machete and hack cuts all around the trunk and poor a little of this chemical in each cut. In a couple of weeks the tree will defoliate and die. I used a plastic ketchup type bottle with the skinny tip to squeeze the chemical into the cuts.

This is the "go to" invasive tree killer here in Hawaii. Only takes a few drops. Good price.

Used approximately 2 ounces to kill 7 huge albezia trees. Used a chemical wash bottle, worked perfectly. Awesome solution for invasive tree problem.

Works to kill weeds. We have a problem with Leucaena Luecocephala locally known as Haole Koa. Just cutting the plants down doesn’t work. However adding 4-5 drops on the exposed area of the stem after cutting kills the plant. Results seen in 2 weeks. I used a dropper bottle.

Kills tropical soda apple and horse nettle, too a certain extent. Kills many other things as well. The grasses seem to be alright though.

I bought Milestone after seeing a youtube video produced by the University of Hawaii showing how a few drops will kill gigantic albizia trees. I drilled a hole into the tree, added a few drops of Milestone and within a few days the tree lost all its leaves. A few days after that and it was clear the tree had died. No sprouts or suckers have come up. I have read articles showing that the effective ingredient never really goes away so anything that has been treated with Milestone should be considered hazardous waste. For example, anything poisoned with Milestone can never be mulched and added to a garden because it will cause deformed vegetables. For that reason, this product should be used sparingly and judiciously. I wish it was available in smaller quantities because this big jug is expensive and is literally a lifetime supply for my useage.

I waited to write this reviews until I used it and saw results. Our Albezea trees are dying. It’s doing a great job. Easy to use. Easy instructions. Drill a hole, we used a baby medicine dropper to put poison into drilled hole. Weeks later we have no leaves, dead trees.

Very powerful, a little goes a long way. Kills most everything. Say it doesn't kill grass, but it weakened my grass, killed some. I used 3/4 oz. per gal in my DeWalt sprayer. Maybe use a little less next time.
