It works perfectly both as an appliance and as a feature in our outdoor kitchen. We use the top drawer for beers and the bottom drawer for non-alcoholic beverages for the kids to easily access. It also scratches very very easily, when installing the handles, the handle oppisite end spun on the screw and put a ring like scratch right across the face of the unit, surprising since it had no force pushing it against the face of the unit at all. I suspect there is a very soft low grade of sheet metal used for the panels.
