Pigma Micron Fineliner Pens, 003 Tip Size, Archival Black Ink, 6PK 50033

Have purchased many of these over the years. Dries so quickly and glides over the paper, love the fact they are waterproof. Great for ink and wash watercolor painting. My only caveat is that the felt tip wears down too quickly, particularly on smallest sizes. Won’t keep me from continuing to purchase! Love ‘Em!!

Normally, I'm a fountain pen user. Love the feel of a nib on paper and the flow of a quality ink. But some of my work requires my signature in very small boxes, and the fountain pen resulted in a blob instead of my normal signature. These pens are perfect for that because they write such a thin line. I can sign and date in the smallest of boxes now! But aside from the niche use case, these are indeed nice pens for those of you who typically write small, or want to fit as much as you can on that one piece of paper you're allowed to take into your exam.

These pens are great you can probably write a whole essay on a sticky note. The tip is very sensitive to pressure, if you attempt to write with anything that can depress paper you’re gonna break the tip. You have to almost used the gravity of the pan with a minuscule amount of force to make it work appropriately. And the pins will dry out very fast. So make sure you have the cap on and don’t let them sit out. I’ve had three pens go bad and not work from these issues. Overall this is the finest writing pen that I have used.

These do exactly what they're supposed to do. No bleeding, soaking through, no runs. Just extremely uniform lines.

after a week I love these pens for detailed work, the 003 size if great for those ultra-thin lines when needed.

As an artist who spends hours at my artdesk, I can assure you that these are my favorite pens. I wish I could buy them in bulk. If only they made them even finer!

I HAVE BOUGHT THESE PENS FOR DECADES AND I'M ALWAYS EXTREMELY HAPPY WITH THEM. I DO A LOT OF DETAILED PEN AND INK WORK AND HAVING THE 003 SIZE IS A REAL TREAT TO WORK WITH. LETS HOPE THAT THEY ARE STILL BEING MADE DECADES FROM NOW. IT'S WONDERFUL TO BE ABLE TO DO PEN AND INK DRAWINGS WITHOUT GETTING YOUR HANDS DIRTY AND TO HAVE A CONTINUAL FLOW OF INK. SUPER PRODUCT ! They work incredibly well, are very much water proof, have almost no bleed through at all on any paper I’ve used, and feel great to draw or write with. Can’t recommend enough honestly. The tips ARE a little fragile but considering the sizes I use are 005 and 003 that’s to be expected and they really do take a LOT of abuse, have only had one where the tip didn’t last until the ink was gone but if you’re rough with your pen tips then this is at least a consideration. If you’re like me and used it on rough poster board these might be too fragile but that is the one time I had an issue.
