No more hassles with ND's on the end of lens - and works on one lens where it's impossible to put anything on the end. I am deliberately NOT upgrading some lenses to RF from EF because it adds so much advantage.The build quality is the only down side... removing filters feels a bit fragile and the whole adaptor is not the solid quality of the OEM version - but it's half the cost... and none of this shows in the pictures.
