Hydro-Force SX-12 Hard Surface Cleaning Tool AW104 Spinner Wand

After ten years using the sx12 1st gen, sx15, and off brands. This new model is disappointing. It doesnt actually cover 12 inches of cleaning area like the old model did, weighs more, and spins slower so you have to move slower. The propritory hp water into the top of the unit is routed so the hose loops around the front and is 3 bolt pattern so IT CAN NOT BE REVERSED. This means the hose is in the way when trying to get under cabinet lips. Oh and food I mention this new model is taller then the old version? Makes it even harder to get under a cabinet lip. It only cleans up to 2" from the outside edge against baseboards, old model was 3/4 of a inch so it could easily be tilted slightly and finish ask the way to the wall. NOT WITH THIS ONE. 2" on a 12 inch head means you actually only clean 8 inches, that's about 2/3 the area the old gen sx12 covered causing 30% more time and labor to clean the same area. Not even including the extra edging required with a separate tool. The 2" hose connection is nice, that's all the good if can say about it.

Bought one from outside Amazon...The newest model SX-12 is hard to push with a bristled brush design under the rim of the tool...even with the floor wet on most surfaces dog for pushing and pulling...I'd recommend all day the TH-40 Turbo Hybrid instead! 25 years of cleaning tile and grout professionally!
