Review: Great for all ages - Got this for my 11 year old. Thereโs a good mix of labs for younger and older ages. There are some that involve making seed bombs, painting pots, how to make a photo press. The activities weโre doing with my son that is older are a water pot fountain and garden stepping stones. The pages are very organized with a supply list, instructions and pictures. Very well put together book! Review: Highly recommended by mom!! - I got this as a part of a Christmas gift this year for my nephew who's only 1 1/2 now so I knew it would be more of a present for his parents to use with him, I figured in a few years. But his mom just called & said she absolutely loves it!! Said there are so many wonderful ideas & projects that she absolutely cannot wait to get started. He loves the outdoors & she said she's starting now (mid February) to collect seeds so she'll have some ready to start with him in a couple months. She said there is a ton of helpful information in this book & that it's a fantastic resource - highly recommends this for kids!!

A Great Way To Expose Kids to Your Gardening Passion
My Dad and I learned to garden together over seventy years ago. The bond we shared because of it lasted a lifetime. This book has helped me share those times and that information with children and their parents today. I'm so glad I found it!

Gardening with kids
It is OK for Home gardening guarding related crafts. I was looking more for cricket, easy gardening activities for school use where you have limited time. If you are a first time gardener was small children, some great ideas.

Love this book!
Loved this book! It is well written and the photography is excellent. The projects themselves are realistic and fun, and can include several age groups. Love how the author pays special attention to recycling and repurposing items we would normally just toss out, only to end up in a landfill. Anyone with children could make good use of this book!

a present for an early years teacher who loves to get kids muddy. Hopefully there will be some experiments in here that she has yet to have done.

Title is misleading
It's a basic gardening 'activity' book, the activities are fine and there are good photo's that accompany the instructions, but there are no actual experiments to carry out which is a little disappointing, I was expecting something a little less standard and with a bit more of a scientific edge considering the title of the book.
