Will these pens work on glass and dry without smearing.

I don't think it stays in the glass. Ink can be erased from the glass.

Will they ever dry out if not used? If so, when will they dry out?

All inks dry out, black is the worst. I've been told by pen dealers to expect a shelf life of 1 year. I don't know about this specific brand, but that's the expectation.

Would it bleed through if used on wood?

I spray mine with fixative and it dies not bleed then.
