Does not taste like packaged Mac and cheese
This is really good. It does not taste like boxed Mac and cheese. Not even a little bit. You need 2 tbsp butter, 1/2 cup of milk, and a pan to bake the crumbs on after you've already cooked the pasta in the pan and added the cheese sauce and seasoning. it says you need a 1.5 quart pan, but I used a smaller one - disposable foil. Unlike other boxed Mac and cheeses, you could definitely serve this to guests and no one would guess it was out of a box.

This is my favorite Mac & cheese brand. They are all good! Yum! Size is good for probably 4 people. It’s just two of us & there is usually left over unless he has seconds. Easy & quick to make. I gave it 3 stars because it’s super expensive. So we don’t buy it often. I wish they had coupons. I would definitely buy it more often. No one makes Mac & cheese like Cracker Barrel!! Delish!

Hard to believe this came out of a box. Only complaint is that I received it the 31st of May and it expired on August 3rd. The other flavor I received (which expires the beginning of Oct.) I wanted to try first, until I read the back of this one. I had been stocking up for hurricane season, but too much prep for a power outage anyway, although it recommends omitting the oven baking step if in a hurry. I think that's part of what makes it so delicious. Even though it has no artificial flavors or dyes, it is not the healthiest of meals. Each serving (there are 4) contains over one third of your daily saturated fat and salt, so pay attention. Easy to want seconds, but not the best idea. Still, eager to try the Havarti flavor, one of my favorite cheeses.
