I bought this wire wheel and it works fine. Another place to check for size is customer reviews. Chances are someone else noticed a lack of information and provided it in their review. **Q: does anyone know how wide this wire brush wheel is? Is it 3/4"?** A: The width (of wire portion of brush) is 7/8" wide. The arbor is 3/4" wide; that is the outside edge to outside edge, not the size of the arbor hole itself. Hope this answered your question! **Q: What is the size of the hole? Will it fit on a 3/4" shaft?** A: Hole size is 1/2" w bushing to go to 5/8". Need to find a larger wheel for 3/4" opening. **Q: how wide is the wire wheel? Will it fir the 6" Porter-Cable? i bought a 1" wheel and it rubs so much the wheel won't turn.** A: The brush bristle width is approximately 7/8" +/-. However when used, the bristles deform and spread out. My wheel is now closer to 1"-1-1/8" in width. This makes it suitable for use on most buffing machines with a two pole 50Hz induction motor running at a nominal 2880 rpm. There are similar brushes available on Amazon at a much lower price, but the delivery is horrendously long ( six months in one case) and their quality is unknown.
