Review: Good paint - Painted my wheels and the color is nice! A little lighter than I thought but it looks great, and close to OEM for my waffle wheels. Held up great under conditions, no chips.
Review: Solid product I will use again - Started with freshly blasted aluminum motorcycle rims, wiped down with denatured alcohol. No primer, Used VHT high temp wheel paint (gold) 1 light coat 10 min flash, 1 medium coat 10 min flash, 1 medium coat 20-30 min flash, then used VHT Clear, 1 light coat 10 min flash, 1 light coat 10 min flash, 1 medium coat done. Two super bike rims took 1.5 cans of color and clear. I mounted the rims myself with professional tools and revived no damaged to paint on install and it directly held up to brake fluid during bleeding so it's very durable and chemical resistant when used correctly. The caliper paint I used VHT was a bake-on, no cleat coat and it melted from the fluid. Lesson learned, hope this helps others. I cannot say how well this will cover, protect, react to other paints/brands.

No primer, Used VHT high temp wheel paint (gold) 1 light coat 10 min flash, 1 medium coat 10 min flash, 1 medium coat 20-30 min flash, then used VHT Clear, 1 light coat 10 min flash, 1 light coat 10 min flash, 1 medium coat done. Two super bike rims took 1.5 cans of color and clear. I mounted the rims myself with professional tools and revived no damaged to paint on install and it directly held up to brake fluid during bleeding so it's very durable and chemical resistant when used correctly. The caliper paint I used VHT was a bake-on, no cleat coat and it melted from the fluid. Lesson learned, hope this helps others. I cannot say how well this will cover, protect, react to other paints/brands.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fantastic clear coat for painted rims

My old aluminum wheels had started to corrode after 22 yrs. So, I cleaned them, painted them with wheel paint, then needed to clear coat them. So, the Rustoleum wheel paint can said to clear coat it with Rustoleum wheel clear coat. Never heard of Rustoleum having a wheel clear coat. So, I did some research. Turns out, the Rustoleum wheel clear coat came in with terrible reviews. So scratch that. Then I stumbled across VHT. I've used VHT in the past, and it's excellent. Found a High Heat Wheel Clear Coat made by VHT. PERFECT ! Read the reviews, ordered 4 spray cans for 4 wheels. Applied as directed. Takes 7 days to fully cure. Now that is some good stuff !!! The brilliant clear shine it left is beautiful. Sprayed on easily, even upside down and sideways. No drips or spitting from the nozzle. Fantastic product ! After 7 days, I'll go over the clear coat with a clear ceramic sealer for added protection. Can never go wrong with a VHT product !
