Well this bit of kit is awesome, Hey this will filter bacteria viruses and all your little nasties in the water however if you're using it for tap water it might let some of the fluoride get through but will take out all the heavy metals and much more and we'll allow all the good minerals to stay in there. Plus it has a 10 year shelf life in the packet and three years if it's being used now and again unless it takes not 10 seconds but 25 seconds to push down and filter. And apparently it can last up to three freezers if it's left in your car or your camping and it freezes any more questions just ask

Item arrived on time and as described

I use this for multi scenarios. Camping or so we can drink water abroad. Found this invaluable travelling in countries in south east Asia. Where we were told not even to brush our teeth with the water. This meant we could without worry and pleased to report it worked we scored the infamous Bali belly for 3 weeks! 4 stars is because I do think it’s expensive for what it is!

I like the filter it's my goto everytime. However when I bought this replacement filter after fitting the clip failed on my geo press ultralight pretty fast.

Die Ersatzkartuschen passen, die Filterleistung des Grayl ist großartig. Natürlich gibt es leichtere Filtersysteme die sich ohne Kraftaufwand bedienen lassen aber die filtern weniger... Mit dem Grayl habe ich bisher immer ein gutes, sicheres Gefühl gehabt.

Always keep a spare - these things last a lot longer than you’d expect and filter out more water than it says. It just takes longer to filter the more ‘used’ it is. But in a pinch, you’ll be able to filter water even with a well used filter. This brings me comfort, I hope it does for you too.
