Will the sony a7iv fit ? Is this a hard shell case ?

I don't know if a different camera will fit or not but it is not a hard shell case

Want to buy this bag as a Father's Day gift, can I get it before the holiday?

Of course, I received the goods on the fourth day of purchase.

Does this camera bag have a belt loop so you can attach it to a belt around your waist?

Yes it does, however I think it’s good enough to carry the empty bag only as it’s not strongly attached. Basically it’s attached to a thin fabric on the back.
