Great value for the pack and they burned without any issues. Write speed and recording quality were solid and the audio came out clean. Print/label area works fine too. The all-black discs look awesome, like little mini vinyl records.

These discs are cool looking. The top looks like a grooved vinyl record and are compatible with small inner labels completing the look of a vintage record just a smaller version. The burning quality is great at the 8X speed I have burned with in the past. I mention that because it's been quite a few years since I have actively burned CD-R discs. These discs just burn and look great. The only reason I give it 4-stars is the packaging. Before when I had bought similar discs they came on a spindle and these are just bundled with protective discs on top and bottom. Those other discs came with a locking top cover and spindle so they all stayed neatly in their stack. I carefully opened these and was able to keep the plastic around the disc edges so I had one problem which was they'll spill out if not secured some way. That way was to use two medium width rubber bands so not a terrible inconvenience, but a bit clunky. If they'd package them with a center spindle on a bottom holder and a twist-down cover I'd give it that final star.

Nice cds....I don't know if being black discs make a difference but these sure have a nice sound reproduction in all of my systems...my new go to for great sound quality...try em!I think you'll like them!

These look and feel well made. I have had zero failures when writing these discs with mixed Audio CD and Data sessions (hybrids). They look good and have played in every CD player I have tried them in so far. As others have noted in reviews; they do not come on a spindle; but for the price that is to be expected. If you really want a spindle, pay more; or buy one separately. No complaints at all, and a great deal on CD-R media.

From other reviews I found out these don't come with a spindle case. That's no problem; I have a ton of empty spindles sitting around. These are adorable! They look like mini LPS. They don't have the brand names printed on them (like Verbatim does), so they are even better. So far they have burned wonderfully with no problems. All of them are playable in my CD player. The bottom side looks wonderful after burned; they have no marks or ridges like some other black CD-Rs. Anyway, I'm so happy with them, I will order more for sure.

These writable CDs are so cool, replicating the look of old-school vinyl records with grooves and gaps etched onto the top side. They're exactly what I needed for a retro-themed event coming up that I'm designing. I burned the 30 discs I required without a single glitch or dud. These come in a shrink wrapped cellophane band, without 'cake box' holder. This saves on plastic, but provides no storage container for leftover discs, which may be a consideration for some potential buyers.
