Countless visits to the vet and 5-6 different meds did not help with his last yeast infection though. I searched online and on many forums looking for someone who had ever experienced this with their dog. Finally, after posting my issue on several different sites, i got a reply from a guy who used to breed pit bulls.. His reply was short, he told me to order this stuff and use it on my dog every other day. Nothing else was said. I was desperate for anything that may help, so i ordered the MTG plus and gave it a shot.. All i can say is, why didn't the vets mention this? Who are these people that complain about the smell? Who cares if it works like it did for my dog? In only 4 days of use, his fur loss had stopped and the awful smell of yeast was almost non existent on him.. By the end of week 2, his red sores were gone and his fur was almost back to normal. He made a complete recovery in just under 3 weeks and his fur has never looked better. The pic on the right was after 2 weeks of treatment. This stuff worked when nothing else would and had i known about it sooner, i could of saved myself a lot of wasted money. Now, keep in mind that im no vet , nor do i claim to be.. Although, this worked wonders on my dog, it doesn't mean it will work on all dogs.. Used it for a touch of rain rot, awhile ago, and that’s gone - his coat has never appeared so glossy or healthy. It will cause your horse to smell slightly like bacon, and you as well - which is slightly unsettling. The scent lingers on your hands, even after a shower, and makes you hungrier than you thought you were. Apply with gloves or be prepared to spend awhile de-scenting yourself. In spite of the overwhelming olfactory overload, I wholeheartedly recommend this product - it’s worth handling the scent because after several applications to the effected area - whatever the problem was - fungus, rain rot, girth itch, scratches, sweet itch, tail rubbing, dry skin and bug bites - becomes a thing of the past. I was skeptical when I got it, and my vet had never heard of it, but I read about it online and figured I would try it for 2 goats who had gone bald with raw skin on their faces for about 9 months (after antibiotics, steroids, and a zinc ointment from the vet had not helped). It smells gross, and it makes a crazy mess when you put it on because it’s a liquid but one of my girls grew her hair back completely where I was putting it and the other had some partial regrowth of hair.
