do you have to install the soap dispenser?

No. When we had the quartz counters installed we chose not to install the soap dispenser just the taps.

Is there a matching filtered water faucet of the same design?

Yes very close with Kinetico reverse osmosis

Will this work on batteries alone?? I have no electric by the sink
