I'd been using a desk mounting clamp for my mic arm for so long and I'm very happy to have moved onto this wall mount. This keeps the arm nice and tucked away off my desk while I'm not using it. The arm I have does require the assembly to be rotated as to not have the arm's elbow ram the wall, but that's no fault of the mount. It comes with all screws and drywall anchors. The construction is metal and sturdy. Very good product.

I've been deep diving and studying microphones for the past year. The farther back you go the more you find that you should question EVERYTHING you hear on YT. The major issues: 1. Never place a microphone on the desk you will be touching your mouse/keyboard/etc.. on. Your mic will inevitably vibrate and create sound issues in the recording! (hence this wall mount) 2. Never put your mic closer than 16in from your face or at a "45degree off axis" placement if you don't want massive mouth noise. 3. Mount your mic on a wall or ceiling, and have the boom arm situated to be over your head where you're talking under the microphone (eliminates all plosives, most mouth noises, and lessens the harsher sibilance but doesn't remove all of it.) That said. I mounted 2 mics to my walls on either side of my desk 6in above my head. I used my old boom arms and removed the desk clamps and slid these into the the clamps and poof, works like a gem. It took all of 2 mins to set up and will take about the same if I need to move them (I don't plan to since they are positioned perfectly for adjustments with the boom arms. For the cost these wall mounts fix 90% of my VO audio issues. There's no excuse for bad audio!

Great look and feel, it’s super sturdy on the wall but I’m giving it 4 stars because it initially didn’t fit my Rode PSA1 Professional Studio Boom Arm. I removed the plastic insert/spacer and tried it that way but there was too much instability side to side so I put the plastic spacer back in and drilled it out a little. I was able to get my boom arm to fit with hard twisting back and forth and lots of pressure. The plastic insert cracked but is holding it stable and lets it rotate. I would encourage the manufacturer to include multiple inserts for different sizes of boom arms. Glad to have it off the desk though and now it’s able to swing over my keyboard for singing while playing or swing next to my computer monitor for recording vocals with lyrics.

great wall mount didn't work exact with my Fifine low profile mic arm without modification but worked in the end

For the love of your sanity - buy different screws and/or anchors. There's no notation of what size the anchors are, so good luck selecting the proper drill bit if you don't, but also the screws don't even remotely fill the anchor to secure it into the wall. I needed this installed quickly, so I just used larger screws that I had on hand, but definitely prep before hand and just buy different ones. I'm sure I'll be happy with the mount itself after the rage of the install subsides XD

This low-profile device freed up deskspace that we're able to use for fitting more equipment upon the desktop. I love that my unit came with two different types of screws. This device is well made and extremely sturdy. It serves its purpose and is hardly noticeable against our black wall. We would highly recommend this device to anyone in the professional broadcast industry as well as the everyday podcaster or recording artist. Anywhere you're using a microphone and need it handy, but not in the way, this is the device to use. Seller was wonderful and helpful.

hardware that came with it is terrible. screw completely snapped off in the middle of the wall as i was putting it in, now i have no idea how im going to get the screw out of my wall without the philips head. thanks for the headache. do NOT recommend.
