Stupid question? will this work in a 600v meter safely? is it only for fluke or will it work in klein/milwaukee meter?

I am not able to directly answer your question. However I would suggest using the fuse specified by the manufacture of your meter. My fluke meter currently costs $500 and would be upset if I damaged it due to the wrong fuse.

My blown fuse (fluke 115) is labeled as dmm-11ar (dark red band, not green). dunno what the "r" stands for but can i safely replace with this dmm-11a?

The dark red band is the same fuse made by a different company called Bussman. The three most popular fuse manufacturers for these HRC fuses are Buss (green band) Bussman (dark red band) and Little Fuse (white fuse with blue lettering). There are other manufacturures as well. For your fluke 115 you want a 11Amp, 1000v fuse this fuse will work fine. I have one in my Fluke 115.

Hey - I had the same sort of question when I was looking for replacement fuses. I have a Greenlee DM-65, this fuse fits and works in mine just fine.This fuse is sized 10.30mm x 38.00mm, or in inches: 0.406" Dia x 1.5" . Here is what the amprobe manual says it wants: Fuse for mA μA input: F1 fuse, 0.5A H 1000V fast-fuse, (6.3×32)mm Fuse for 10A input: F2 fuse, 11A H 1000V fast-fuse, (10×38)mmSo, this replaces the high amperage fuse. You can buy the other lower-amperage fluke fuse for replacement as well (that is what I did, keep a spare around). Hope this helps.

Will it work for a fluke 115 meter?
