The Ayurveda Way: 108 Practices from the World’s Oldest Healing System for Better Sleep, Less Stress, Optimal Digestion, and More Review: This is a perfect gift book filled with elegance, health, and genuine wisdom - I have read and studied many books on Ayurveda and I simply can’t recommend this book enough! It is an authentic sharing, not only of Ayurveda, Yoga, and Vedanta, but of the author’s own personal experiences and wisdom with the knowledge. The chapters and structure are well thought out and easy to follow. And it is beautiful! It’s such a delight to gaze upon the beautiful colors and photos – you feel like you learning the wisdom alongside the author surrounded by nature. Ananta grounds the information so anyone can understand the principles and this is why I will be giving many of these to friends at Christmastime. It’s a perfect combination of nature, nurture, and spirituality. Her heartfelt writing of her Guru and ancestors also gave me faith that there is a genuine wish to help humanity and a Dharmic path that she is following. Ayurveda can be complicated, but it can also be simple too. And I found in my own life, that when I consistently followed the simple basics, my health improved. Nothing is more important than your basic health, and Ananta has made that goal achievable with this book. Thank you Ananta! Review: Love this book - Love this book! It is short, sweet, and simple to follow and understand. 108 Practices is the perfect amount if you are interested in being introduced to Ayurveda and the writer shares her own personal life experiences to intertwine the practices into improving her own life. That personal touch is nice without over doing it. I have bought this book for myself and for others as gifts and all of us have enjoyed it and changed some of our daily habits to being healthier thanks to it.

Incredibly informative and inspiring book on the life science of Ayurveda.
Articulately, yet crisply written book with breathtakingly beautiful and stunningly colorful imagery. Ayurveda is a science so many could benefit from on a both a physical and spiritual level, and The Ayurveda Way is the perfect, approachable introduction to this ancient wisdom for individuals of all ages, and lifestyles. I highly recommend it to anyone interested in Ayurveda, newcomers and long time students alike.

The food and spices make alot of sense. Some foods should never be paired together. Really glad I bought this book it is another step in the right direction for health. The book is also really pretty to look at.

Easy to read
I liked that the book was easy to read and understand; and it explained the reasons behind the guidelines. Also the recipes were simple and didn’t take that much time to do (even the first time trying them out).

This book is wonderful if you are new to Ayurveda. If you already havr some knowlegde about ayurvedic life style, you might not find many new things, except maybe the recipes, which are lovely. The book is interesting and soothing. Love it.

Easy reading of Ayurvedic concepts
Easy reading of Ayurvedic concepts. The book contains time tested and tried yoga practices and recipes that can easily be incorporated at one's own comfortable pace. My mom picked it up and read 40 pages right away and the next day woke up early and walked a mile with me motivated by what she had read. The bond that was generated made both, my mom and me better. Good healing guide book.

Misprinted halfway through
This is a great book and I was really enjoying it until I came to page 133. From there up to page 147 there are misprints so bad I cannot even read it.
