Replaced struts with these detroit axle struts big improvement over old struts with 180k miles. Remember that the bottom bolts are Alignment bolts. You have to knock them out with a hammer do NOT spin them out. And you will need Alignment after. Well worth it. They are all together no dangerous spring compressor needed just bolt in align and enjoy comfy ride.. factory ride height. Not hard to install. Handles great

I ordered these 2 front struts for my 2011 ford edge sport FWD, for my husband to put on for me, i was quoted 1200 by an auto shop, so this saved me tons of money, the set they sent me came with a defective driver side strut that was cross threaded accidentally by the manufacturer, however a short phone call to detroit axle and they send me a free replacement within 3 days, and i was able to throw away the defective part, now i have both of my front struts installed and my edge is riding like new, maybe even better, i have the sport with the 22" tires so a smooth ride on these is hard to find, thank you very much for the amazing parts, also id like to add that my ride height was not altered and there is no noise, easy installation, and a soft ride.

I'm not an expert on such products but the product was recommended by our company mechanic , and just installed. Shipping was just fine....packaged well. So far everything is great from the new initial install.

I put these on over a year ago on my full size, HEAVY, suv. They are working well so far and for the price I would definitely buy them again!

Easy install on a 2013 Ford Edge. Top nuts are a little tricky to get to, but that is not the strut's issue. They went in easy and have worked great.

I'll not recommend to buy this struts in my personal case 3 days after I installed the start making really bad noise that noise not going away, so I reported to DETROI AXLE then they want a mechanic report otherwise warranty not covered so I take it to the mechanic the mechanic told me the 2 front struts make really bad noise & they look very new struts so I PAY for tha report but the mechanic make it mistake he write driver's side make it noise he recommend to replace 2 from struts so DETROIT AXLE said mechanic report only says driver's side make noise. So the only send me one original price for 2 was like $190+ almost $200 so they make me pay the mechanic report on top of that they make me pay for shipping so a pay $42+ for shipping so I really disappointed with this thing buying company policies so the always make policies where the client lost the company never loses. Hopefully it no buddy run in to this problem with this parts me I'm done with DETROIT AXLE

I installed these on my 150k mile Tacoma and have driven over 11,000 miles with no problem, leakage, or noise. Rides like the original OEM struts when new. Good value.

Perfect they came fully assembled easy struts fit in no problem easy work price was right and on spot.

Easy install/fit. So far so good. Quality seems good but only time will tell.

I'm working on getting a replacement will provide an update UPDATE: After some back and forth, Detroit Axle sent out a replacement. It arrived very quickly. I installed it and it isn't as noisy as before but you can still hear some rattling from time to time during cold weather. We'll see how they feel during summer. I must note that these are definitely NOT OEM.
