1020 Micro Case (Red/Clear)

Solid case. Does a great job housing my in ears and other supplies. Well built.

Pelican still makes good cases. And they were even kind enough to put usable inside dimensions in the description so that I could choose the right size on the first try.

I used this to make a waterproof case for a behind the bumper radar detector. This case works. Keeps the moisture out and cradles the detector in such a way that absorbs any bumps and shocks to it. Radar and Laser detectors work right through the clear plastic. Very good quality. I did drill one hole through it to run wires and sealed it up with epoxy. Works great!

Perfect for USB external hard drives. I send them all over the word in them and they protect them perfectly. Shop price! At the PX/BX they are as much as $34. I got them on Amazon between $14 and $20. The 1020's (the size for USB hard drives, not the large USB and A/C plug size). I noted the clear lid is better. It's as hard as the solid colored ones (though they don't appear to be, but they are) and it's much easier to be sure you're not pinching your USB cable in the lid. BTW, they do make larger ones your powered externals will fit, but I could not justify the cost ratio for my data importance. If your data is critical, then cost isn't an option and these will protect them. I always buy 2 of the larger HD's and use one as a duplicate of my data so if one fails, I immediately replace and make a new 2nd copy (I have 6, with 4 TB worth of data each, but own 12 for 1 for 1 backup). I save the original boxes they come in (my preference is Seagate) and they ship well in them. But again, if your data is too critical to lose, pay the money, buy the appropriate sized Pelican.

I’m constantly around saltwater this is waterproof in got drench with rain and waves and it was dry inside . Note make sure to measure so you know what size you need to purchase for items you going to put inside

I bought this case for my Panasonic TZ4 with the pick and pluck foam. The camera fits perfectly. There is a quarter inch gap between the lid and lens and I can hold it upside down and shake it and it doesn't move. I wanted to bring it with me on hikes, mountain-biking, and canoe trips. I have done all of these things with confidence. The case is very strong and even shields from heat. ***Update*** The case was in my backpack when it was run over by the rear tire of a grapple skidder (big tractor used for dragging downed trees). The backpack was torn and had plastic buckles broken, but this case did not have a scratch. The camera still looks brand new after 2 years. If the camera had been in its original cloth case, it would have been destroyed. This case is cheap insurance.

I had been looking for something to hold SD cards for my camera for a while but all the options seemed really poor made or didn't hold a lot. So I decided to make my own using this case and the foam set sold separately. Works great so now there protected and weather proof!! As for the case its made of a hard plastic with a rubber insert which gives it color. The rubber is removable but the down side is it will not seal at all if it is not there. I only mention it because I removed the rubber to put the foam set in it which fit fine but didn't seal. So you need to kind of cram the foam in with the rubber insert to make it work. Seems to seal nicely and all the hinges seem well made to last years, they also hold there position real well. Also comes with a carabiner attached which is a nice feature for me making it easier to pull from a bag. Overall id recommend this or any of the various sizes they come in. If you need water and crush proof this is the way to go, and it doesn't break the bank either!!! Positives+ Well made See through Negatives- Rubber removable but makes it usless

With the addition of 2 heavy duty magnets, I could put it on my motorcycle tank. Waterproof, so able to put my GPS in it. Perfect.

I have a few of these for media cards / rushes. I already have the 1040 in the colour shown in the image but the “Blue” is not the same colour. Can’t really be bothered to return it as I need it for work but it’s kinda annoying.
