Yes, there is chemical fragrance in this product. I would recommend avoiding and purchasing something that doesn't have fragrance.

Well, you do disclose the amount of coal tar on the bottle. It’s the active ingredient after all. I think the real answer is that Neutar is a trademark of J and J. This product contains 4% solubilized coal extract with 1% effective active ingredient which is similar to the extra strength T Gel.
