The media could not be loaded. We live in a single level apartment and are fairly close to the parking lot. I needed a way to be able to open our windows at home but feel safe. We have one on our window and our second bedroom window. It is perfect! Easy to install, sturdy, durable, not too big, discreet. Picture of my finger for size reference.

What a hassle. I ordered 6 of these. Order shows up with 2 white 2 packs, but then the other 4 were gray 4 packs. Okay, blame the Amazon warehouse. Do a return, and get 4 replacements. Luckily the second package I opened had one that the screw was malformed and would not turn. Yippee, return #2. Strangely, I could use Staples like the first return, so how I get to drive to a ups store also. Long story short, just make sure you open and inspect each package to hassle sure they function.

Love the plastic pad/strip and easy to install. Quality item.

Does the job well.

Fit is ok. Easy installation and well made. The only downfall I see is that if you tighten too tight it will dimple or damage your window frame.

So easy to use, it’s a no brainer and it secures windows really well. Love that I can crack my window open in these hot summer nights without worrying too much about security.

I'd been curious about this product for a long time, and decided to buy one, which was a surprise when I noticed it came in a packet with two. I have several sliding storm windows, which I like to open occasionally to let some fresh air in, but even though the area I live seems to be safe, I felt worried about leaving them open, as there's nothing stopping someone from removing the screens and lifting the windows up to get in.I wanted to buy a few of these, but am glad I ordered one set. I hadn't really thought about how and where they would need to be attached to the windows, until I had them in my hand. I first tried the bedroom window (which is different from the rest of the house). I pushed it into place where it seemed obvious to go, and then tightened the screw after determining how much distance I felt comfortable leaving the window open. I was pleased that it attached perfectly, it was so easy, I wished I'd bought them years ago.Next I tried all the other windows, but unfortunately I couldn't get one to fit. The window in the bedroom, slides sideways, the others slide up the way. In the bedroom the part where the lock attaches, is very narrow, just 1/4", the other windows over 3/8", or 1 cm.to be precise,Unfortunately there's no way these will fit your windows, if the area it needs to slide over, is more than 1/4". I'm happy at least it will fit one window and was worth the money.

I needed something to lock my windows so my kids couldn’t lean against our screens in the upper floor of our house. I didn’t want something cheap and plastic that they could break or unlock themselves. I figured these were a good option because they’re metal and heavy duty so if someone tried to force the window open it wouldn’t snap the lock which happened with a different plastic one we tried. My little one (1 and 3) can’t twist the thing to unscrew it so these are perfect. They also blend in well with the window so they’re not incredibly noticeable. Perfect for keeping little ones safe and I imagine them being strong enough for keeping your windows secured from burglars as well!

Selon le sens d installation peut abimer les peintures du tour de fenêtre....Je l ai installé pour que le "clou visse" ait le serrage intérieur à la fenêtre ce qui impose un vissage inversé à la normale....Mais le blocage est efficace quand même.
