A great life within a little book
Read with my grandson who wanted a number of stories at bedtime. He has a number of these inspirational titles in this series and together we chose Pablo Picasso first. Such a talented boy whose story is all about doing your own thing and believing in your self. Realising your dreams through your own natural ability. The simple text is easy for young inquisitive minds to follow and the illustrations do justice to the subject and enhance the great man’s legacy. There is at the end, as with similar books in this collection a potted biography for grown ups and the photos always reinforce fact before fiction. A pleasure to read and share with my seven year old reader and absorber of information. It is a simple life that achieved tremendous things through hard work, self belief and the independence of a creative soul. It challenges me to nurture our own children and those we teach or influence to encourage but never judge or contain. Dreams are for the future and are not confined by the past; they just need to be set free and given time to coalesce.

Little people, Big dreams is an amazing series.
This beautifully crafted children’s book offers an inspiring introduction to the life of Pablo Picasso. Thoughtfully written and richly illustrated, it presents his journey in an engaging pictorial format that is both accessible and captivating for young readers. The artwork is vibrant and expressive, perfectly complementing the clear and well-structured narrative. Most importantly, it sparks curiosity—my child was truly in awe while reading it and she loves art. She has taken it to school this week to show to her art teacher and share it with her class An excellent addition to any young art lover’s collection, this book is a must-have for children eager to learn about influential personalities from the past and present.
