Mounting under soffit
The flood lights are packaged well and arrived safety. Like other reviewer's have metioned the quality of the construction seems very good. The housing is solid casting and has a glass lens. I don't think any bugs will work their way inside this unit! I didn't want to mount these directly on the siding of my house because I already had a junction box that housed the original flood lamps, I prefer to avoid any unnecessary holes in the brick siding and the pig tails would have been to short as is. I would have been happy to purchase a plate or bracket that would allow these units to be mounted directly to the standard existing round junction box. Since there was no adapter I could find available to purchase, I opted to fabricate one and include pictures for others who are likely to have a similar situation of retrofitting these floodlights in place of flood lamps. Last but not least, I'm pleased with the light output and the low power consumption. If these last as long as I expect they are a great product at a bargain price.

Compact powerful floodlights
Small sized light that really does an excellent job. Mounted four of these in our egress path/break area outdoors. See photo! Very good color rendering and area coverage. Looks nice and bright but not harsh to the eyes. Employees can see well and feel a lot safer at night. We bought 12 total of these lights for security lighting. At 30 watts, these are just right to illuminate a medium sized area. Mounting brackets allow for a low profile mount too (the lights themselves are quite small) Unbeatable price for such quality. Don't forget a photocell for automatic operation. These would be great for wall wash/signage lighting. Going to get some of these for my personal use as well...

Bright lights, low power draw.
I have purchased ustellar led floods three times. I use them to light a jewelry and sculpture showroom space at outdoor events. They give good light in dark or overcast conditions. In daylight conditions they are also somewhat effective, highlighting the contours of my sculpture. They do appear equivalent to to the much more voltage intensive halogen floods that they replace. Although they do still produce significat heat near the unit, it is less than the halogens (about 2/3rds less) they do not heat the sales area as much, which a good thing on a hot day. They must be wired, either into current wiring, or connected to a plug cord. One to three screws can be run straight through the bracket for installation.

Please explain "Three years unlimited warranty means we’ve got you covered"
The late 30W LED Floodlight saw minimal use (I put this on a motion sensor so it was on 30 minutes per night, tops) during its short life. And Floodlight lived a boring life, installed under a covered carport and protected from the elements. Yet Floodlight met its end in a few short months. Tragic. The product specs exclaim "Three years unlimited warranty means we’ve got you covered! Contact us for an easy and fast replacement." So I did. And after a couple of emails, I got a response from Sky at Ustellar, who addressed me as "Dear Valued Customer". So we seemed to hit it off well. The email also asked me to send the order number and "some picture regarding the problem light as we would like to see if we are able to figure the problem out with those detail". I did these things, with rapidity. But alas, received no further response from Sky after many tries. Not that I didn't try. Yes - Sky was ghosting me. Ouch. The "Three years unlimited warranty means we’ve got you covered" seemed so straightforward. Is Sky at Ustellar measuring "three years" in some different relativisitic space-time? Does "Unlimited" have imply some unspoken, mystical constraint? Perhaps I deeply misunderstand the concept of "got you covered", and my failure to pursue a PhD in liguistics has finally come back to bite me. Maybe the picture they wanted was really a request from an xray of the box, or an atom probe of the LED. Or maybe I was supposed to turn the LED on before taking the picture. The possibilities are endless. Unlike the lifetime of Floodlight. Only Sky knows for sure. I guess nothing will bring Floodlight back to life. Or get Ustellar to honor their warranty.

Fairly bright within about 5-10 feet; good value with discount
I kinda bought these out of curiosity because they were on discount and seemed like a nice idea. Not sure how or where I’ll actually use these. I already have solar-powered lights around the backyard and garage. This is obviously much brighter than those but is AC powered. Maybe I’ll replace the outside “lantern” style bulb lamp with this, though it won’t look as nice. Not sure if it’s normal for it not to have a 3-Prong plug. I nut-wired it to an old cutoff extension cord to test. It is bright, you DO NOT want to look directly at it. From my back door it lights up the area to the garage ok. It’s most bright within the first several feet, then dissipates after that. It also has a bit of glare. I was surprised that it gets a bit warm, being an LED. I didn’t measure it but it is slightly hot to the touch after running for an hour or so. Not as much as a regular CFL or incandescent of course, but more than I’d expected from an LED. At 30W it should only be only pulling 0.25A, which I wouldn’t think would get warm. Must be some internal resistance causing more current draw. I’ll have to get an amp clamp and check it, again out of curiosity.

Great lumination at this price
This is well made and has a very high output. Some minor wiring is necessary. Note, this is a 3-wire harness that comes with the unit meaning, you must connect the 120VAC Hot, Neutral, and Ground wires to a 3-prong plug. All 3 connections must be made else the light will not work. Great product.
