Solid brass,nice quality.

The holes aren't really big enough for the posts.
Had these fitted by a handyman, and while they do the job quite well, they're fairly short. The main issue is the holes didn't fit over the posts well, to the point you'd have to really force them down, and then of course back up again to open the window. So he drilled through the holes to make them a bit bigger, and now they're working ok, if slightly untidy.

Screws are poor quality and break
The main problem with this product is that the included screws are a very poor quality for use in a window. Just hand tightening, almost all of the screwheads broke when I was trying to install this. It is a shame that they decided to use screws like this, instead of good quality ones.
