Great sifter!
Love this sifter! I was using an ancient one, and it worked so I had put off buying another, but I finally broke down and, after researching sifters, decided on this one. I am so glad I did!

Proven design with some improvements over what our grandmothers used.
I finally found a rotary flour sifter a lot like the one my grandmother used. These work better than the trigger type. Easier to clean, and with a handy bottom shape that engages with largemouth mason jar if need be.

Decent quality for the price.
Love this sifter. It has a high capacity and is quality made in my opinion. Easy to clean in my opinion and safe to use unlike our last one that had exposed sharp metal edges that rewarded me with a nice slice on a couple knuckles. Super easy to use and feels solid in your hand without being too heavy.

Loved it
Works really well, able to take a full batch of cookies' worth of flour directly into the canister. I like it better than the store sifters that have the sharp grating sound from the handle like rusty nails. This one is quieter and only scratches the sifter, and not just because the handle is moving. I have a sensitive ear, so it helps that the sifter is quieter. The handle is really nice to hold.

A kitchen must
This is a great item from the old country usage. Even using boxed cake mixes you should sift. The powdered sugar sifter also works well for powdered cocoa

Great little fine mesh sifter
I like this because I he mesh is a bit finer than the one I have and it has two spinning bars to push the flour through rather than only one. The additional perk is the flour dusting device. Spreads flour more finely and evenly than by hand!

Works Well
When I received this, the first thing that I noticed was that it looked like it had been opened. Then when I took the flour sifter out, I noticed there was no flour duster which was supposed to be included with this purchase. So I returned the product and asked for a replacement. The replacement product arrived a few days later and though the box was still a bit chewed up, the inside products were both there as they should have been in the first place. The flour sifter does work well. The 5 cup capacity is a nice size for me and because it it stainless steel, it resists rusting (although I still would not put it throught the dishwasher). I never put any of my things in the dishwasher because I find they get ruined, so I had wash everything. That is probably why my things last so well. I hand wash and dry them and they stay looking new and they last so much longer. This is the 2nd flour sifter that I have purchased and it is sturdy and works well for not only flour, but powdered sugar and lots of other dry foods. I am happy with this purchase.

Falsely advertised, it’s NOT a 5 cup sifter
Disappointed! This is not a 5 cup sifter! It’s barely a three cup. It seems well constructed. I was not disappointed in its construction. The seller needs to update the listing description to reflect it is NOT a five cup sifter. Sending it back tomorrow because I need a larger capacity sifter.

sifter used for coffee roasting? why not.
i got this as a cheap way to do coffee roasting in the backyard, and have successfully roasted about 3lbs and learnt a lot. it is a manual process, but the crank and the stainless steel design allows me to process about half a pound of coffee at a time. the bonus item was great, something I didn't know i needed until i had to dust some thickener into my gravy.
