9-Inch Frameless Box Fan, Freestanding Desk Fan with 3-Speed Settings, Portable Fan for Home Office or Garage, BFB09W, White

I LOVE this fan! I originally bought two - one for my office so I could better regulate my own temperature while sitting near my desktop and the other for in the dead space under our above-ground swim spa in order to keep the air circulating and hopefully keep it relatively dry under there despite the small leak we have somewhere. I am happy to report, both fans are still quiet and running great. The office fan cycles on and off well by a room sensor but the MOST impressive is that the one in the dead space has been continuously running since 2021. 2021!!! I took a panel off recently fully expecting it to be non-functional....but no - still going and still quiet. I love these so much I just bought another one for our guest room, I didn't even bother to shop around. Picture is of the one from under the pool still going (not that you can see that in the pic!) before putting the panel back in place and sealing it back in!

I have been looking for a fan to fit on my windowsill between the window and blinds that would be quiet enough to not disturb everyday life. I only found one other fan with a smaller footprint ( 2-Speed Tabletop Box Fan 9-Inch Compact Quiet Home Office, White ) and decided to try this one first because it shipped prime (and therefore was also cheaper, with the free shipping) and because of its prettier design. Now that I've received it, I do really like the sleek, clean-looking style that doesn't look "warehouse-y" or industrial indoors. It has a nice slim, simple design and a small footprint (hard to see on the images, the base is T-shaped and incorporated into the shape such that it's not a full box sitting on its bottom side like most). Fits on my windowsill between the screen and the blinds (even though I think its width is really more accurately ~4.25in rather than 4in flat), which is what I wanted. It's quite light-weight but seems stable and doesn't shake at all, or even move when the plastic blinds move around and bump it. The first/slowest speed is so quiet that most likely someone buying it for white noise would be disappointed. This is perfect for me because that speed is sufficient to get air moving in my AC-less apartment on a hot day without making a bothersome amount of noise. The 2nd and 3rd speeds do make some noticeable white noise but I think still an acceptable level for that amount of power--but I doubt I will need those speeds. The only thing that is not 100% wonderful about this fan is that the cord comes out of the back on the side opposite the speed dial and there's no room in the small base for the cord to pass under rather than over the fan if you want to cord to come out on the other side (e.g. in my apt, the outlet happens to be on the other side relative to the fan). I am able to cross it over on top of the fan behind the frame so that in the end it's not visible, and it's a small detail anyway. All in all, this fits my needs perfectly and lives up to its advertised purpose. I am buying 4 more so I have one on every windowsill in my apartment for the summer!

Got the Black+Decker Mini fan to replace a twin fan I had for 30 years. I wanted quiet and small--got both in this mini fan. I like, also, the air flow this unit puts out without the noise of larger fans. The dial control on the front bottom right corner is a plus--I did not want buttons as mentioned in this products desscription. My two complaints are that this fan has a shimmy and vibrates a bit on a hard surface--also, the base is rather narrow making it a bit unstable. I kept it as it is quiet and moves air well--I use it on a padded surface, no vibration noticed. I would look at other options before buying this model again.

This frameless box fan is fantastic! It has a sleek, modern design that looks much cleaner and more streamlined than traditional box fans. If you don't have air conditioning, this works, great. Set it on a windowsill in front of an open window, and it will suck the cooler air inside.

Very quiet and low profile for the amount of air it moves.

I originally bought this fan July 2023 and it worked great! Fit just fine in my bathroom window and ran quietly. Unfortunately now, about 2 and a half years later it's making loud grinding sounds when starting, a lot slower to start and sometimes I really need to hit it for it to start at all. I wouldn't be surprised if it dies completely soon.

Estaba buscando un ventilador pequeño para mi habitación, ya que el que tenía realmente ocupaba mucho espacio, tenía algunas dudas respecto a él, pero en cuánto lo recibí me encantó, es pequeño, compacto y realmente me gusta su diseño simple, elegante y limpio, no es muy pesado pero es muy estable, al funcionar, no se agita en lo absoluto y tampoco hace mucho ruido, para el tamaño, tiene un excelente flujo de aire en sus 3 velocidades, refresca bien una habitación no muy grande, creo que es perfecto para una recámara o una oficina y luce muy bien en cualquier espacio.

Prático potente e silencioso

Don’t judge my setup lol I had to change the air in the room through the window because creating a natural airflow was impossible. I tried a fan three times bigger, but all it did was move the air around inside the room. So I used this tiny fan with a setup that blocks air from coming in or out, honestly thinking that because of its small size, it wouldn’t do much. To my surprise, it works really well. It’s much more powerful than I expected and on top of that, it’s very quiet.

Funcional, realmente es para un escritorio o el buro donde requieres un nivel de flujo de aire agradable y un nivel de ruido mínimo. Tengo otro de Honeywell mucho más flujo de aire pero el ruido es más intenso y si lo tiene muy cerca llega a ser molesto.
