Smelly, but fumes are mentioned on bottle
The bottle does warn that the product will heat up and cause fumes, but you really do have to look for it in the small text. I also didnโt see that you shouldnโt eat or drink around it, so Iโd already made a cup of tea just before using the product. There were a lot of visible fumes coming out of the overflow, and the smell is very strong; I had to open the back door because I was really struggling to breathe. As for draining speed, itโs hard to tell as the product is powder and quite a lot remained above the plug hole for some reason. I had to boil the kettle a couple of times to clear the remaining powder. Some of the powder had also solidified, so Iโm not sure if thatโs normal or not. The plughole itself looks mostly clean, so it appears to have worked, but half hour after having rinsed the product away with kettle water, the smell is still there and I donโt love it. If itโs worked though, then thatโs good, Iโll really have to decide if Iโll be using this product again though

SINK BLOCKAGE YES. PIPE BLOCKAGE? NO.
A lot of customers have reviewed it didn't help at all. Same here - this product didn't work for me. But I realised, for those it worked- the blockage was in the sink hole, NOT the pipe. Our sink pipes are blocked, for which this product will be of no use. Hence I would suggest - investigate first where the blockage is, and then order this item. (For me, plumber had to come in and replace the pipe because a portion of the kitchen drain pipe was severely blocked by rubbish!)

Absolutely brilliant job Bathroom sink has been slow to drain since I bought the house. Not now. Again, brill clearance job No, I do not work for the company

Smells foul and the smell lingers afterwards but did the job. Just be careful to follow the instructions on the bottle.
