Awesome !!! friendly !!! versatile !!!0
Awesome yogurt maker !!! Can't imagine my life without that addition to the kitchen. Making yogurt every week now. And it's not about saving money, not buying it at the store, with sugar and other preservatives added. It's about my own health, since we all know that whole body wellbeing starts in your guts !!!! About yogurt maker itself: simple, compact and very efficient. Keeping needed temperature through the whole process which is the most important thing for making great healthy yogurt with alive good bacteria in it. Also, quantity it makes per time is enough to consume during the week for one person. And one more positive factor: I can make yogurt on the base of any milk now: goat, any nuts, seeds and oatmeal Thank you, JoyMech :)

So easy and works so well!
My first effort at making my own yogurt. It was so uncomplicated and it worked! Best of all - the finished product is delicious and wildly better than store bought

It’s cute. It works
It’s not perfect, but it’s cute and does the job. There is no temperature control and mine reaches 115 degrees. It doesn’t come with a strainer. I thought it was missing, but it tells you in the very little manual. This isn’t so bad since yogurt will thicken up just by being in the fridge. I ended up buying a little strainer that is the perfect size and rectangular. I learned that homemade yogurt has so much more probiotics along with not having all those extra ingredients. I learned about the pro biotic L. Reuteri which unfortunately wouldn’t be so good for this machine for the lack of temperature control. I’ll be using this machine anyways. Yogurt is much more healthy than pudding or ice cream and it’s kinda fun to make. I’m happy to use the milk before it goes bad since I only need so much dairy in a day. It’s also better for the environment. No more plastic containers and a little less whey for factories to dispose of.☺️

Too good to be true
Making yogurt WITHOUT heating milk to 185 first (or some saying a little higher) then cooling down to about 112 does not give you yogurt! The instructions are misleading. I bought it because it says you just put the powder in the milk and put in the yogurt maker and 12 hours later you have yogurt. This sounded too good to be true but thought I would try it. When it didn't work, I went to troubleshooting and it tells you if you didn't get yogurt it's because you didn't heat up the milk and then cool it! Heating the milk up first and cooling it down should be in the INSTRUCTIONS, NOT in the trouble shooting. I'm very baffled by the ones stating they had great yogurt by using it according to the instructions. I followed their instructions and ended up with something gross. It also does not make a full quart. I am returning this purchase and sticking with my faithful yogurt "thermos" method.

Simple and Great Yogurt Maker
Love this yogurt maker! I've used this product for about 18 months and love its simplicity. Plug the machine in, then warm about 2 cups of milk for a minute in the microwave in a glass picture (see enclosed recipe book). Next, mix together about a half cup each of milk & yogurt from my last batch (or buy a small cup serving). Once yogurt blends with the milk, pour this mix and the rest of the milk into the metal bowl and blend once more. Cover and let sit for 8-12 hours or till it reaches the sour you desire. If you want a thicker Greek style, purchase a tall 1 Qt Strainer and pour the entire mixture in. Let cool in the refrigerator to separate; two hours or so. Use the separated "whey" in coffee or with cereal. Store the yogurt in a container and enjoy.

Small capacity, no extra containers.
Works, economical, but smaller capacity than one thinks, also should provide more than one container to allow you to store without transferring.

Great value
This is one neat yoghurt maker that is great value as it works well, is easy to use, and does and excellent job. It also came with excellent instructions. I am one happy customer and can recommend this cool device that gives one good yoghurt for far less than having to buy it. All one needs is some milk and a bit of yoghurt and one is off and running. I am one happy camper!

Yes, It Works.
Does exactly what it says it does. It’s extremely simply, and that’s the beauty of it. It’s well made, and it does what it’s supposed to do.

Best machine
We like this because we turn it on and run it as long as we need. The unit only holds the temp. Timing is up to you. It does not turn itself off. We gently heat 2+ cups of 3% milk to 145 degrees + and hold it for half an hour (or 180 for a half minute). This kills bacteria and changes the milk to promote coagulation etc. We set the milk to cool to 110F and then we stir in the ‘seed’ yogurt saved from the last batch (we reseed endlessly, no idea why some say there is a limited number of times you can do this) and then we put it in the machine. If you hold it at temp for a while more than advertised you will get thicker yogurt - as you will if you tip off the whey when done and let it drain somehow. Anyways, we set the top vent and let it go for about 14-18 hours. Simple. So good we bought a second machine. Anyways, the machine consumes only 20W, which we can handle, out here, off grid in the middle of the middle of nowhere. So it’s ‘off grid’ friendly and convenient. We even use it in the winter when, frankly, we could just set the seeded milk near the wood burning stove. FWIW

Super petit appareil.
