I remember as a kid seeing commercials about this Roller Racer but never had a chance to own one - so when I was thinking of a gift for my 9 year old, I knew this would be perfect. I assembled it in less than 15 minutes. The quality is great. The seat is large enough to accommodate an average sized adult and bigger kids. I had to test it out of course and it works as it should. I love that it requires the use of your arms to get it going and keep it going. My 9 year old loves it - a great alternative to a bike IMO.

**Q: where is it made?**
A: The Roller Racer is made in China, for Big Time Toys, in Nashville, TN. They are well-made, and our grandchildren love them like their parents did many years ago (older models). Our kids get on them and ride, showing their children how they did it.

**Q: How does this differ from the vintage rollers? Same molds used?**
A: Yes, seems to be the same. The grandchildren just love these. So worth the cost when seeing them have so much fun.

**Q: does it have brakes?**
A: Your shoes are the brakes so get some throwaways. Wish I had this advice when I was a kid...

**Q: Is there a product like this for people more than 150 lbs?**

This is just as fun as it looks! Ingenious idea. Our grandkids love this so much that we have bought 3 of them so they can all ride at the same time. It took our littlest one (3) a little time to figure it out, but the other two were up and rolling immediately.
