I needed a compact trash bin for under my computer desk. It fits into the corner well, out of the way but easy to use. Takes a standard small trash bag such as available on Amazon. No bad smell - none at all as far as I can tell. Well made, seems sturdy. Being black and not high gloss it is unobtrusive. Convenient holes in the side for picking up to move or empty. Not expensive.

Shopping for a basic black trash can is no small feat! I checked several online retailers, read so many reviews it’s ridiculous, considered name-brand versus unheard-of brands, and ultimately landed on these! They are, dare I say, perfect! They are very square, so they fit in a corner very well (so when positioned correctly in the corner, you can toss something from across the room with no worries that it’ll “miss” and end up behind the can on the floor (assuming you can make a good shot). (Am I the only one that firmly believes corners require square trash cans? I think it’s the whole round peg/square hole thing for me. Lol). These fit perfect in the corner of a bathroom, under a desk, in a cabinet, or next to a bed, etc. The plastic is durable, color is true black, easy to wipe clean, and seems like it will stand the test of time. The size is great too, and holds everything I need it to until garbage day. The price point is great, especially for a 2-pack. As long as the size is what you need, you can’t go wrong with these!
