Cartman 1" x 12' Lashing Straps Cargo Tie-Down Strap Up to 600lbs, 2pk Orange

These worked perfectly to lash on some large rugs onto the roof of my car. They are sturdy and hold well, even in a the intense wind at 70 mph on the highway. Buckles easy to use, and extending them by putting two together worked very well.

Bought these as extra straps for use as Kayak tie downs. These look to be of good quality and are easy to use, arrived in good shape and on time.

Great quality buckle, straps are a little thin but still very good.

NOT ONLY DO THEY DO THE JOB, THEY ARE STRONG AND SHOW UP BETTER IN THE DARK.

These work well. So far I’ve used them to hold together plastic file drawers where the outer housing just snaps together. They do that well and also are good carrying handles. As the strap is much too long, I cut it off at an appropriate length and seal the ends with super glue, vs melting. The remainder in this case is long enough for other uses. And there were more than 8 in the pack.

I bought these to strap down my kayak while hauling to the local lake in the back of my truck. Once I opened the box and saw just how super light duty they are...I will not trust these for any thing other than the most light weight of bundling requirements. They literally feel like I could tear them with my hands. Heed the photos of another reviewer that shows the contrast between the older version and the current. I can personally attest these are way too light weight for any application where confidence is needed. The cam buckle is substantially smaller than the earlier versions and the width of the strap is not even a full one inch.It is a great value for six straps if you only need them for storage and small item bundling or lashing (like securing a rolled sleeping bag or a yoga mat).If you are looking for the quality and confidence in high end cam buckle straps like Thule, NRS or Yakima...do what I did; save these for light applications and spend the money on the actual heavy duty name brands for strapping high value cargo on the open road.
