You just screw it to the wall and hang your fire extinguisher from it, But, make sure your extinguisher can use this type of hanger. There are several. If at the neck you have a hole extending out you are ok. Go to a store and look at other extinguishers for ideas.

Hello Veronica E., I'm not the person you bought these from because I always put screws in with the order but I will try to help you. If your wall is made of sheetrock you need to locate a wooden stud and use a screw about 1 1/2 inches long to install your wall hook.
