Great mix and easy to use

My wife and I have been marooned in Singapore for a year due to Covid. I have been unable to find a suitable American style breakfast sausage anywhere. After several experiments with my own combinations of seasonings I gave this a try. It was easy and tasted great. I have made three separate batches of sausage tweaking the amount for lesser quantities of ground pork and all were great. I even slipped some of it my dressing recipe for Thanksgiving dinner and the neighbors loved it.

The place we get our deer processed won't make breakfast sausage for us without adding pork. I didn't want the pork. So I bought this Backwoods seasoning and I'm so happy that now I can make my own! Tried it today for the first time and it's really amazing. I love that you can adjust the amount of seasoning based on your own taste. In my opinion, it has just the right amount of salt. Because the venison is so lean, I added 1 tablespoon of melted butter into the 1 oz of water and added that to 1# of meat. It was absolutely delicious! We eat our sausage with a little syrup. This will now be a staple food item in our home! You won't be disappointed if you're looking for a great seasoning mix for your wild game meat.
