Tool bag reference books
I have heard about these great reference books for years, but just got around to purchasing them. They are comprehensive, easy to use, and easy to carry along on any job. Well worth the money.

Good Reference, But...
This is a valuable resource for residential electrical work for professionals and Do-It-Yourselfers. Although the Editor completely failed to correctly provide useful reference and calculations in the Standby Generator example, the book is a good reference and in fact, as are other books in the Ugly's series. I would recommend this product and look forward to the published corrections in the near future.

Solid book that has already paid for itself
I am doing part of the remodeling of our house and decided to buy the reference guide to check myself. I am not an amateur by any means, but what I found useful in the book was that it fills in a few blanks. For example.... how high to mount a thermostat... 60" was the answer... didn't know it, but it is what my other one was and was happy that it was right! Other information such as determining if I will need to have the main feed replaced or if a panel change out to go from 150A to 200A is required.... in less than 2-min.... I have my answer on both ends (what is in the panel and what is minimum code). It definitely does not replace the full code book nor will it help anyone that has no idea where to start with wiring.... it is geared towards those that have the skills, but want a way to confirm what they know or what they find without having to remember it all or make a mistake.

Excellent book information
Excellent book information. I found what I was looking concerning measurements. I will definitely recommended. Easy to carry and easy to follow with the Table Of Contents.

Must own if you play with 110 or 220.
Still as good as my first copy for a college class in 1982. Only the binding has changed. My edition is for nostalgia.I purchased this one for my son and his first home. ๐

Toolbox guide to the 2017 NEC but not full rules, just helpful stuff.
This is a small book. I may actually need to get a magnifying card to carry with it. That said, I can guarantee that I am going to be adding tabs for some of the various sections in here. It is terrific. Find a symbol on a set of plans you are not sure of? This book has a section on standard electrical symbols in house plans. Need to know some of the fill or bending rules for conduit. It has a basic section on them.It is not a replacement for the full code book. But it is similar to the On-Site guide I use in the UK. Just what I need in the toolbox.
