Item is of great quality and is easy to use.

Handle broke the first time I used it!
It looked like a good deal and the quality of the material looked study when I got it. About an hour into the project, shaving about a 1/8" off pine, the handle came apart and my dat was through. Ill go with something twice as expensive next time, if it means it will hold up past the first use. SO SAD!! I guess you get what you pay for.

Defective/Cost to send back is on buyer.
Blade moves after being set. Defective product. Requested a refund. Refund request accepted with me paying postage to send back. A defective product should not subsequently cost me money. So no, I will not shop this seller again. Update: Cost 14.00 and change to return. Again I say for a defective tool. Again I say we will not be getting anything from this seller again.

Broke it, fixed it; effective but not level (as expected for price).
Managed to strip thread on handle screw for my third project use; third project was a doozie for this plane. I was able to fill the handle’s base with c.a. Glue, piled some around the base, and it works; but cuts my finger from rubbing on the hardened glue.
