Furniture Clinic Wood Stain in Dark Oak is a fast-drying, highly concentrated water-based stain that deeply colours all types of wood in one coat. ## Description

Use it to stain any type of wood for indoor or outdoor use! A highly concentrated wood stain that effectively colours wood in one simple application. The formulation is water based and so is safe to use in all environments, as it has a very low odour and is non-toxic. Our Wood stain is specially formulated to evenly dye wood, ensuring equal and even colour penetration throughout. The stain dries to a natural matt finish in only 10 minutes and has excellent coverage. After staining wood, you should finish the job by sealing the stain in with one of our Wood Waxes or Wood Oils. These will bring out the colour of the stain further, provide additional protection and can be used to alter the finish to either satin or gloss.

**Q: Do you need to apply a poly topcoat after staining?**
A: Depends on what the item is and how it will be used. A cabinet (except the top) may be fine, but the top or other heavy use items would need the protection of a top coat.

**Q: How’s long does this need to dry/set before one can sit on furniture after it is stained?**
A: It’s dry after 10 minutes but maybe give it an hour to be safe

**Q: My cabinets are a little scratched also, will this cover also a few scratches? I was thinking about getting the walnut color.**
A: As long as the scratches aren’t too deep, I think it will. I used a bit on my hardwood floor and it helped.

**Q: Can you paint a stair case outdoors with it?**
A: It should go on bare wood not a painted surface.
