Bear in mind at this point I could have ordered the same item for £20 rather than the £29 I paid (no offer of a refund at any point), and desertcart was quoting the same delivery date as it was now quoting me for my Sept order (Weds 17th). After a chat with Customer Service I was informed that the item had an issue at Customs (I was never informed of this, also why on earth is a company as big as desertcart having issues at Customs?!) and given an expected delivery date according to their system of 16-17th of January.
