This is the best base I've found for making my chair sit higher off the ground and prevents cats from getting paws and tails stuck if I move to get up and don't see them. All smooth surfaces and very sleek. Takes up less space than plastic ones. The wheels are good, too. I didn't use them on my main chair but they were a good replacement for the one in my spare room

So my gaming chair's base cracked and it slide the piston all the way to the floor. I needed a placement, for just the base and piston. It is exactly how it is described in product's link: metal spoke base, rubber wheels. The wheels were a nice touch. Easy to assemble, with the hardest being getting the pieces from the old chair removed from the broken base. The whole process outside removing the parts, was probably a whole ten minutes. It rolls smoothly across the hardwood floor, the piston actually works now, I have greater height and I am overall pleased with the product. If you have a few simple tools in the house, this base assembly makes a great replacement for those chairs who's base and piston have seen better days.

Our chair broke after only a few months. One of the legs snapped off tossing my husband on the floor. He's a disabled vet so this didn't go well. This fit perfectly and obviously stronger and better built. Sits a little higher too on our chair. Better than spending another $200 on a chair.

I bought my daughter a gaming chair a few months ago. Unfortunately, it came with a plastic base that broke in under 1 month of use. I purchased this metal base to replace it and it is perfect. It is metal and sturdy. I would give it 5 stars, however it is shipped in pieces and you have to assemble the arms with 2 screws each, but no screws were included. I ended up using bolts from a TV mounting set that came with an assortment of bolts for different television sets. I found that some of the bolts fit this base perfectly. Knocked off a star for poor quality control.

This product actually held up like it said it would! Very sturdy and manageable. Would recommend this to anyone that needs to replace their broken original one.

I recently got the viral crisscross office chair. That’s been great! I missed the wheels though. I ordered this set to replace the legs mine came with. Please remember to install this set of wheels BEFORE you put your chair together the first time!! Once the piston is in place, it is incredibly hard to change out. Luckily my husband is very handy and was able to do it for me. After I spent way too many hours watching YouTube and TikTok videos to do it myself with no luck. I already had wheels like these so I knew they be perfect for my new chair. Rolling around is so smooth. This set is very easy to put together (as long as you do the steps right for the chair you’re replacing the base on), very solid construction. They’re working well after a month or so. Worth the money I spent on these to create the perfect office chair for myself!

The hydraulic cylinder goes to far into the slot and drags on the floor. It should be an inch or two above the floor at least. I'll call Amazon and see if the distributor has another gas cylinder that works better.

All office chairs should come with these types of wheels. So smooth rolling.

On my gaming chair, wheel plastic socket broke and would not hold wheel anymore. Instead of replacing whole chair, I just replaced the base. Everything fits, original cylinder and casters. Now I have much sturdier chair that can take some abuse. It was bit of a challenge to detach pneumatic cylinder from seat steel support bracket, so I placed the cylinder with bracket to the freezer and then carefully took it out with wooden mallet.

I bought this metal chair base to replace a tired plastic item. The new base is metal, sturdy, wide for good stability, easy to put together and worked perfectly with my existing casters and lift cylinder. It was a little more expensive than I hoped but now I am using it I can see it is worth the price.

This product was easy to assemble and install. Well made, nice finish with no finger traps. The in-line skate wheels are a nice idea. I have a concern about the wear over time as the spokes zre attached to the hub with little screws., Sturdy for now but I think that overtime the screws will loosen will need constant maintenance. Olther than that 100%.
