works on 1986 mustang V6
worked to replace original piece on factory gas tank on 1986 V6 mustang. at first I thought it would be too small, but the rubber grommet came off of the old one. (I had snapped the tube removing the hose on the old one, this one fit perfectly. sure it's just a one way valve and a plastic tube, but it's important to make a seal so that fumes don't escape from the tank.

Dorman 911-060 Fuel Vent fit perfect 1980 Mustang
I ordered this Dorman 911-060 Fuel Tank Vent Valve for my 1980 Ford Mustang 2.3l Turbo. I needed to add a new fuel vent valve for my Mustang as mine was missing and did not pass CA Evap smog test. The factory foxbody tank hole is 1 3/8” so I drilled a new hole and this new valve popped right in. The quality of construction looked better than the cheaper Chinese generic alternative. It did not come with the rubber grommet (Ford part# F6TZ9B076AA) so that needs to be ordered separately.

Probably never go bad
These things probably never wear out, but I like these and the grommet slash seal changed anytime maintenance is done on the tanks and or pumps of all my 9th gen pickup trucks. I'd suggest shopping these out and trying to get the best deal with seals that fit fit your ride, what ever it may be. I got these for my 95 150 and with the proper seal will work on all my 92-95's. I haven't been in my 96 OBD II TRUCK as of yet . Only my guess that these will probably fit 8th gen ford trucks as well .

Doesn’t come with new seal.
Valve was correct for 1984 F250 19ga rear tank, however, it did not ship with a new seal that had to be purchased separately.
