No blade rub, either. The steel is average, nothing to get excited about, but it sharpens up quickly and easily. Blades arrived quite sharp and ready to cut. The stagalon handle covers are done well and are attractive. The blades have decent snap and aren't nail breakers. The blades do not have shiny, high gloss blades, but I don't view this as a negative at all. I own about 30 Case traditional knives, and some of them aren't as nice as this Uncle Henry. Really! For a long time after Taylor Brands purchased the Schrade company, the knives they put out were pretty terrible. Taylor started stepping up their game, and it looks like BTI Tools is continuing this trend. This knife is a great buy at $18. If you need a nice-looking, inexpensive traditional knife, this is it!
