Velocity instrument "Old School" version.
This instrument is used to check air flow velocity combined with a "U" tube in inches of water pressure 1" water pressure equals 4005 FPM velocity. If multiplied by the area of a pipe you derive CFM at ambient temperature and sea level.

Good pitot tube
I like it but for one gripe . The tubing fittings aren’t the same 1/4” as they should be . Either use 3/16” or 1/4” not both .

It is NOT Giving Meaningful Results
So first of all, static pressure results are higher than the total pressure. How this is possible I don't know. I tripled check the location and the alignment of the pitot tube and used different manometers but results didn't changed :( Secondly, Value that I'm reading is changing when I close and open the other port. For example I put the static port into the manometer and measured when Stagnation port is open. I do the same with Stagnation port is closed and readings are increasing. Same thing happens on the stagnation readings. Another interesting thing I observed is that, when I close the tip of the unmeasured port both static and stagnation values gives the exact same results. Let's say even though I tripled checked the alignment and location of the pitot tube I insert it wrong. How can the static readings change when I open and close the stagnation port?? Well overall I needed to order another pitot tube and I lost hours while I was triple checking every component on the system. I attached 4 photos which includes my readings in these cases: 1. Static reading when Stagnation port is closed. 2. Static reading when Stagnation port is open. 3. Stagnation reading when Static port is closed. 4. Stagnation reading when Static port is open.
