No , the yellow wire must be connect with 12v acc port( key ignition) . otherwise, it will not turn on

The D6RL model has no screen, how can i check the video ?

It support wifi connection , you can check, download or edite video via app on your cell phone

Why can't I access the app even after connecting to WiFi
